Meet the Doctor
Dr. Gloster has been practicing Optometry for over 10 years. As an Optometrist she specializes in the evaluations, treatment, and management of disease, disorders, and injuries of the eye. Driven by a passion to help others, Dr. Gloster always pictured herself in the healthcare field. It wasn't until her last year in college before she decided to choose Optometry as a profession. The uniqueness of Optometry allows her to focus on sight as the window to good general health. She loves Optometry because it's not just about helping her patients to see better, but it's also about educating them on the importance of taking care of their bodies as a whole.
She received her Doctorate in Optometry from InterAmerican
University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry in 2010. She is a received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 from Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama.
She is originally from Denver, Colorado, but has grown roots in Dallas, Texas. After completing her Optometry degree, she began practicing in the East Texas town of Mineola. In 2021 she became the proud new owner of
OPTICAL BOUTIQUE and EYECARE,
a private practice in Desoto, TX.
2023 brought even more change and expansion. Dr. Gloster became the FIRST BLACK OWNER of a
PRIVATE OPTOMETRY PRACTICE in Aurora, CO
with the establishment of
EYE ENVY VISION.
In her spare time, Dr. Gloster enjoys spending time and with her family, baking, traveling, mentoring young optometrist,
and volunteering at her church and in the community.
